My friend Brooke and I have had an arranged marriage between Ella and Cooper since before they were born. They finally met for the first time on Valentines Day.
At first it was a bit rocky, but Cooper warmed up a little bit as the photo shoot went on!
Brooke and her cute sister Nicole made Cooper and Ella matching green hats because they both came home from the hospital in green outfits! We couldn't resist getting a picture that!! They are totally going to hate us when they are 5!!!
We had so much fun! Thanks Brooke and Coop for a great Valentines Day!! We look forward to many more in the future!! ;)

Just like her
All of you who know my mom already know what an incredible woman she is, but I thought I would take this rare quiet moment to let everyone know how wonderful I think she is. Me being a new mom of 3, and Rawlin going back to work, needless to say, my anxiety level was really high!! Of course, it was mom to the rescue! She did laundry, dishes, cooking, running Kaden to and from school, grocery shopping, and dealt with Chase's constant power struggles so that i could focus on Ella and my recovery. (Oh and she dealt with Rawlin which is a full time job already!!! ;)) So as the week ended and we realized we were going to be on our own, Rawlin's anxiety kicked in. He decided he was going to try to hide mom's keys to no avail. (Mom was a little too curious when Rawlin said he needed to move her car even though it was parked on the street!!) Even though I felt guilty every time she loaded a dish or put in a load of laundry, I was so grateful for her selfless service. As she hugged me goodbye and I started hyperventilating she told me something I have had to repeat to myself everyday so far, "You are a strong and capable woman." I am because of her. I'm glad I have had such a wonderful example of what a mom really is. I realized that no matter how old I get, no one can even come close to replacing my mom!! Thanks mom! I love you!
This is the quilt my wonderfully talented Mom made for Ella
The darling flower quilting!
